Hinged Windows

Crimsafe hinged window security screens are hinged along their sides or top to swing outward or inward, and feature our keyless emergency exit Safe-S-Capes system. With its one-touch and pull release, even a small child can operate Safe-S-Capes.

In-swinging Safe-S-Capes are installed on the inside of buildings, usually in a reveal fix. They have a full length hinge and full length locking stile that, when lightly pressed, releases along its entire length.

Out-swinging Safe-S-Capes can be fixed as an integral part of sliding windows, or face-fixed to louvres and double hung windows.

Hinged windows are ideal for single and multi-panel sliding windows, double hung windows, single and multiple hoppers, casement windows, louvres, and fixed and sliding combinations.
